Every season starts with a feeling.

For me, Fall starts before the clothes. It is that first shift in the light. The first morning you think about a coat. The instinct to get dressed again and feel the season changing.

That is where I started with Fall 2026.

I kept thinking about what makes you fall in love with clothes in the first place. The things you notice when you get close. The hand of the person who made it. The cut of a shoulder. The weight of a knit. An embroidery you almost have to touch to believe.

I saw so much of that in New York, Milan and Paris this season. Knotting, embroidery, fringe, lace, feathers. Clothes with evidence of the hand everywhere. I found myself wanting more of it.

Maybe it is because we are surrounded by so much that is immediate. So much we see once and move past. I wanted this season at McMullen to be the opposite.

I wanted clothes worth stopping for.

Fall is also the season when I most want to play with who I am.

There is a pair of purple Burc Akyol pants on our floor that I am going to wear. I am not a purple person. But the shape changed my mind. I want them with an oversized olive sweater and a pump. Maximalist to the max.

Dries Van Noten took me somewhere completely different. The maxi skirts, wrap skirts, knits and blazers with crests and embellishment had me thinking about high school. Fashion can do that. Something new can bring you back to an earlier version of yourself.

That emotion ran through the buy.

I felt it in the lace at Gabriela Hearst. The coolness of Róhe. The shapes at Heirlome. Tibi's warm greys and the way those fabrics fall off the body. Christopher John Rogers' paillettes and incredible greens. Aisling Camps, out of the box as always, working silk into her knits and her layering pieces. Sea NY, femme and a little cheeky. A new tone in the Lisa Yang knits, and Khaite in signature black. The intention and incredible work Rachel Scott is bringing to Proenza Schouler, and everything she continues to create with Diotima.

Some things you love because your clients love them first. Kulson is that for us. The fit, the ease, suiting that works at the office and at dinner, and an Icon pant we cannot keep in stock. A Kulson exclusive is coming to Maiden Lane.

Then there were the discoveries.

This Fall, we welcome Conner Ives, Kallmeyer, Mugler, Guest in Residence and Ossou to McMullen. I have been watching Conner Ives for some time, and this felt like the right moment to bring him into the McMullen family.

Jewelry is a major part of the story, too. We have more new jewelry this Fall than ever before, including a Dorian Webb capsule created exclusively for Maiden Lane. André Marcha, Luminous 27, Aliita and Renna Jewels are all new to us. Sophie Buhai is back, and our loves Julietta, Don't Let Disco and JuJu Vera feel so fresh.

But what I love most about this season is what happens when it all comes together.

A purple trouser with an olive knit. Lace against tailoring. Something playful next to something serious. A piece of jewelry you put on and never take off. Something you thought was not "you" until you tried it and realized maybe it is.

That is McMullen.

A place where you can still discover something about yourself through getting dressed.

It is a strong season, and I am incredibly proud of it. More than anything, I want you to experience it the way we did when we were building it. Up close.

Come into our stores. Touch everything. Try on the thing you think you would never wear. Let us pull something for you that you would not have pulled for yourself.
