It’s no secret that Pre-Fall holds a sweet spot in our hearts at McMullen. Our Pre-Fall collection is a sartorial symphony perfectly curated for the transitional period between seasons, offering a seamless blend of effortless style and the playful art of layering. We drew inspiration from our own moody Bay Area weather to begin shifting our mindset and our wardrobe to more subtle neutrals and cozier textures for this editorial campaign.
"Pre-Fall is about exploring textures and autumnal colors as we transition from Summer to the Fall season. We are easing into our new normal, back in the office and traveling again. Wedding and event season are in full force and we are craving dressing up again. We are feeling easy and effortless dressing in a mix of neutrals and matching sets are an alternative to a dress. Abstract prints and architectural shapes are important. This is the season to create a uniform for the Fall season and buy only what you love and will adore for years to come."

The Collection

We are craving warm neutrals from by Malene Birger, new lightweight knits from Zankov and Proenza Schouler’s touch of modernity this season. We love being the conduit for fashion and discovery to showcase our incredible global partners. The allure of exploration and signal for change is why Pre-Falls always ignites a fire within us at McMullen.
The Setting
To bring this season’s vision to life, we partnered with 1 Hotel San Francisco, a sustainable sanctuary inspired by Northern California’s stunning landscape. The hotel's breathtaking architecture and panoramic views of the Bay Area provided the perfect canvas for us to introduce our new Pre-Fall collection. The 1 Hotel San Francisco’s sleek, modern interiors mixed with natural elements created a rich ambiance of refined luxury that simply made us feel at home.
