Our Diotima celebration at McMullen marked the brand’s honor as a 2025 International Woolmark Prize Finalist. Over two days, we brought the collections and craft to life—beginning with an intimate luncheon presented with Woolmark and Planet Haus, where guests previewed the Fall and Pre-Spring offerings and learned about Diotima’s artistry with Merino wool. The following day, Creative Director Rachel Scott joined us in store for a private styling experience, giving clients a deeper look at the crochet work, tailoring, and thoughtful design that continue to define Diotima’s global recognition.

Our luncheon with Woolmark and Planet Haus was a meaningful celebration of Diotima’s achievement as a 2025 International Woolmark Prize Finalist, and we’re deeply thankful to our community for being part of it. Your support allows us to uplift designers whose work honors craftsmanship, culture, and innovation. Together, we continue to nurture the future of fashion.

Celebrating Our Community

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our private styling appointments with Rachel Scott and Sherri McMullen, in partnership with Woolmark. Together, we explored Diotima’s celebrated approach to craftsmanship—Caribbean influence, crochet artistry, and Merino wool innovation. These moments are made possible by a community that values independent voices and the future of fashion. We’re honored to experience it with you.

The Wonders of Merino Wool x Diotima

This season, McMullen celebrates Diotima’s achievement as a 2025 International Woolmark Prize Finalist through a special partnership with Woolmark, the global authority on Merino wool. Together, we honor a shared commitment to integrity, innovation, and the craftsmanship that connects wool growers, artisans, designers, and the communities who wear their work.

Merino wool is a fiber of extraordinary refinement and responsibility. 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable, it grows year-round on Australia’s Merino sheep—sustained by air, sunshine, grass, and water. Its breathable, temperature-regulating qualities make it uniquely wearable from season to season, while its soft, spring-like fibers offer graceful movement, lasting structure, and natural wrinkle resistance.

Rachel Scott of Diotima transforms these qualities through a lens of culture, handcraft, and modern design. In her collections, Merino wool becomes a canvas for sculptural tailoring, signature openwork, and artisanal crochet techniques preserved by Jamaican craftspeople. With each piece, luxury and heritage coexist—not as opposites, but as extensions of one another.

The Woolmark symbol stands as a global marker of excellence, representing a legacy of authenticity, traceability, and exceptional quality.
