“The Visitor” is a handcrafted ceramic figurine designed by Belgian artist Guido Deleu. These unique sculptures are produced in the Cores da Terra workshop in Brazil with natural materials and pigments.

Before pursuing a career in sculpture, Guido Deleu (1932) was a civil engineer for the company Philips in Belgium. His artistic journey began at the Academy of Arts in Roeselare followed by several workshops in Carrara, Italy, focusing on carving techniques in marble. Deleu’s creations in ceramic and bronze have a contemporary, sophisticated and balanced out quality to them, making them the perfect complement to any interior.
